for some reason my indexed images on google was down for the past 2 months, only 20 images were crawled, before 2 months ago, i had over 14,000 images crawled, funny thing is now, the 14,000 images that were crawled then are now back in the index, anybody know what went on for the past two months, why google de-indexed the images on the site? it happened to my other domain which resides on the same server but different public IP.

I recently moved to a new server, could that be the issue? i was NOT hosting any sites within the adult niche or anything like that, they were all pet related sites.

    thanks!

How long was your sites downtime before it come live on the server? That may be where the problem lies and since the image is back on Google now you have to worry less.

this is what happend, i was hosting my site on server X, my images were crawled by google for 6 months, then for the next 2 months my images were de-indexed, i move my site to server Y, after 3 weeks, they were crawled again, not sure if it is because of the server move or what, but during the server move there was no downtime as both servers were running and just waiting for the DNS to change.

...okay, you move the site from the former server when it was de-index and it was index back on the new server. I can not figure out what can be the problem, may the former server or one of Google issue.

yes but it was originally indexed on the former server without any problems, then 6 months later, google de-indexed the images only, and now after i moved it to the new server the indexing of the images is back, but i noticed, if i do a site search for google.co.uk, its still not picking up images, but on google.com its picking up the images, is google making changes?

Google is always eager to download new activity on internet.
If your site was down then this may happen, or due to broken url.

nope, no broken URL, not sure what is going on, some data center images are picked up, other data center, images are not
