Sorry - could you explain what Google's image database is? I didn't think the spiders could read images?
What do you think this is then? - http://images.google.com/ There seems to be a major update every 3 months or so, but I've never seen Google actually state that anywhere.
well, Im just reading on another webmaster forum, that people see new images being added just now, so obviously the new update could be here... The last one that I found records on was in October...
@rowing find it here http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/019259.html @HydroJohn, no it does not change daily, that is for sure
Overall, Google has done a great job of indexing my images. Just not for the last 5 months. I added a couple of great historical photos around September 2007, but they are not indexed yet. And I have been looking. Don't forget to add accurate, descriptive Alt Text - very important. In my case, I would have to say that Google has drastically "slowed down" its rate of image indexing. Oh, well. I do expect them to appear eventually, though. Because they are interesting, high-quality, unique photos from 1920.
I agree that it is continuously updated. I check my raw traffic logs regularly and I always see at least some visits from Google's bot viewing new images.
sure google looks into the pages regulary for new pictures, this does not mean, that they update the serp's for images that often....
Hello... Not sure really but you can always get backlinks for them in directories so that your images appear first Just need to fix the watermark feature and its ready for action laterz malcolm
