google images traffic

i have been getting a lot of traffic from google images lately for my forum, so far this month almost 500 visitors from that, anyone see this change with your websites? i find it weird why their regular search engine is giving me less than images lol

 

Seek like realy good way to bring traffic!

its like googlebot comes in and indexes your site they come and index your images in there i guess and the link abcde gave should help you guys

 

For the last big site I built Google's image search was bringing up like 25% traffic and that was as far back as 2003.

Image search if done right can do wonders as it is far less competitive as the regular search.

Interestingly enough it is not any more competitive today than it was for me back in 2003.

 

Include keywords in images ( in the HTML include "alt=full image name description")?

 

well, my site also received like 1500 visitors from google images this month. my problem is that my site has almost no images except for those from msn.girafa.org, maybe google indexed them
