I recently realized how much traffic and backlinks google images can produce. On of my images without me even knowing it is ranked #5 for Kanye West and for 2 weeks now it's been bringing in about 15k-20k uniques and a lot of backlinks from people using my image for their .blogspot blogs. It's a freakin goldmine. What can I do to increase my ranks on other images from my website? Does the same SEO principles apply? Meaning as many inlinks to the respective image as possible with the same "alt" tag ? Curious to hear your answers
I can say that it all depends on the interest of the user. There is no way to manipulate the number of traffic to a certain image that you want. Just be specific of the text that you will put on it, be wise in using alt tags.
