Google image search results

    Unlike Google web SERPs, image SERPs do not have the "cached" option.
    How can one tell when an image was indexed?
    There isn't even an option for advance search with date range... :confused:

    There are definitely better image search engines than Google's.

    Is there any correlation between the index of a web page and the index of the images in it?
    I mean, if a page was indexed, does it mean that the images in it are also about to be indexed?
