Google Image Results Optimization

    I would like to get all the images on my website highly ranked in googles 'image search' function.

    Is there a specific way to do that? Do you have to optimise the images with keywords or does it depend on the content around the image?

    Alt tag of the img and naming the image with keywords is very important.

    Yes and the title of the page and the content surounding the image is also important.
