So I was doing a bit of checking on a couple sites in Google Image results and we have YPN ads running on one competitive page with YPN ads on it. The ads don't show up. Then we have another page with adsense ads and the Google Image results show the adsense ads. Can someone else confirm that G blocks YPN?
Yeh actually kh7, read it a few times! (it gets more confusing) What I translated: He was surfing through google images. He opened a site up (by clicking on an image). As for being a competitive page, maybe he just meant was ranking well for whatever image he was looking for. From here he noticed yahoo ads on the page. He then went back to google images & clicked on another page and it had adwords on it. My translations are only correct 50% of the time, all the time! As for anwering your question, I havn't heard G blocks ypn, it is however against TOS, am I right on that?
ok try a url: http://images.google.com/imgres?img...&hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2003-41,GGLD:en&sa=N This search in google images: "Las Vegas Strip" shows up midpage. notice how the YPN does not show up within google images results. Go to the page and you see the ad. I tried the same thing with adwords/adsense and the ads appear in image results. Seems like Google image results is blocking YPN ads.
What suprised me is that people who make revenue off of Image results have never brought this up. I've done many searches and still cannot find a comment on this or solution... I guess the solution is to make these ads Adsense.
