Google Hypocrisy or Am I Losing it?

I received an email from Google warning me about a violation on one of my websites. Here is the violation:

The post in question was a picture of a couple caught having sex in the car. No nudity whatsoever, but suggestive, I suppose. I removed and other as well.

But then I went to YouTube and found only about a million examples of similar violations. Here is an "infographic" I did:

Am I in the wrong here? Off course, you can do a search on YouTube for kissing or lesbian or a host of other terms and find all kinds of stuff. Not to mention that I have complained sites that do a great job at obfuscating ads and Google had done nothing about it.

    thanks.

There are much worse things on YouTube. I once ended up on a video where two japanese girls
were licking inside each others ears and moaning. :S

However, the difference is that there are so many users on YouTube that it's almost impossible
to filter out all the videos breaking their T.O.S instantly.

I would think that someone has reported your website and that's why Google found out about it.
But since thousands of "adult/sexually gratifying" videos are uploaded daily on YouTube they don't all get reported in time.

In your case you found a music video which might fall in to little of a "grey area" when it comes to their
terms. But I agree with you, the video is a bit, hmm how do I put it.. Well let me quote the top comment on Youtube:
    1) "1537 jealous females found this on their man's youtube account."

But then again, if google can get money from 16,5 million viewers then why say no?

I got the same email, I did not realize that it was a Do Not Reply email but it was too late. My response was that when you type porno there's a Google ad in the result, WTF!!! Google.

Just because others are breaking the rules for adsense does not mean that you can do it too. It just means that they haven't been caught yet.

Out of interest was your account banned or was this just a warning?
