It is old search filters by Google. i searched hotel rates, hotel locations before but i did not see the hotel search filter before. When i saw this then i became shock because results are showing as like this. Organic results are on 3rd number and visitors clicks would decreases. General users don't know what is Google ads, what is sponsored ads and what is organic results? They will click on 1st results then they will try on organic results. Google is trying to become more commercials. Google don't care about organic results. Google want to sell more adword clicks to business owners. It is way to invite business towards google. What you say guys?
On many commercially orientated competitive results we are lucky if we see 1 organic search result "above the fold" as Google call it. Google are proving themselves to be pure evil and a purely evil business set on world domination IMHO. The amount of things Google does to the detriment of good natural search results such things are no surprise. Google want to milk money from businesses at every opportunity they can manipulate things to do so IMHO.
I am agree with your some points but i would like to tell you one thing. Google is trying to kill weak SEO firms which are working on cheap rates and follow cheap SEO techniques. When online business owners will come on highly qualified SEO experts and then they will charge more and business owners will calculate ROI that should they go with Google adword or Organic results. Diversions would more towards Google adwords because results are instant.
That is one way of looking at things but my evidence shows me that Google are just as likely to show cheap SEO's in their results as others. But yes the squeeze is on to make more and more people and busineses pay for adwords to get any results. Like I said Google want to milk money at every opportunity Edit In fact think about it, it serves Google well to give cheap SEO's results as then people are again more likely to turn to AdWords.
hahhaahahha, Very true. I am totally agree with you. You know, i have an idea that Google can fail. I am trying to contact Facebook. People will forget Google. I am not sure that if i will write to facebook then they will reply my letter. If you can search for me contact us link , please pm me.
I am fairly sure Facebook have plans in the internal search regard already. I know they are doing something. Problem is though it would likely be far worse in regard to organic search results than Google. However I also know the UK Gov don't like Google (and vice versa) in many ways as their staff imply so on their website and I suggested on the UK GOv's site that the only way to tackle the problem of paid ads standing in the way of good natural results and info for UK residents for example would be to have a UK search egnine which had nothing whatsoever to do with Google or Facebook or any other Foreign (as in American) body involved, but alas it is not likley to happen just as FB doing search better than Google and not milking money from other businesses at every opportunity is not going to happen either.
Thanks Revelations-Decoder for nice discussion over here. I think i joined late here. But i am happy that i am getting good response. Let's see what other guys says about this.
Will be interesting! BTW just going by your name Vikash I am assuming you are not American or English (I could be wrong of course as assuming such things is blindly stupid in reality) and I would bet your own Gov and Country have similar problems with Google and paid ads making the job of providing the best information much harder than it should, or needs to, be. If we think about things the whole way search results are presented with only 10 organic search results on the pre set settings search results are pretty naff and set up far better for PPC than organic search results. I could design a much more helpful search results page layout. I imagine many others could the same to.
This I must say is one of the best threads on this forum. I agree totally with you guys. I might add that google is acting more aggressive on their business approach. I read all over the internet how people are loosing jobs and money because of googles crazy updates and policies that only benefits google and how it is affecting websites that people relay on to make their living. It is time for yahoo or some other search engine to step in and compete with google.
Funnily enough if Marissa Mayer (Bogue) used the BT connections already in place between Yahoo and BT, Yahoo could do something much better than Google in the UK. I have a plan I wanted to put to Mrs Bogue in that regard just as Vikesh above wanted to talk to FB but not likely to happen. Not that that would address such things in other countries/juristictions nor address some of the problems with UK search results being so American(ised) in many ways. Problem is though Yahoo use Bing and we can see very similar search results models across all the major search engines. I think the bigest problem with search is that it must rely so heavily on PPC in oder to pay for it and this leads to the detriment of good search results where we see paid ads taking a much greater preference over proper search results and people see, read and click accordingly and so it is a vicious circle which is a problem with no real solution in sight. How easy is it for an AdWords advertiser, for example, to look at the top search result and use the same title and wording for their ads title and wording which appears above the result which earned the position through merit. This means complete bull can appear in ads wording and bull because it has been copied from places with legitimate wording which is then twisted into ads wording. If you get my drift. Like I said already, a vicious circle.
Basically, I am Indian and here govt. don't think on these things. I am very much analytically about any companies updates like Google, Microsoft, facebook etc. When they launch any updates then i analyze the business prospective of company. I am not sure that i always right about my analysis but most of time guys agree with my points. I would like to say thanks for MR.Mac for taking interest in our conversion. I am interested in such kind of discussion where we can give knowledge to other guys.
