I did an experiment on 1 niche with 400k+ search result. Day 1 Hour 1: Create a brand new wordrpess with domain mynewniche.com Day 1 Hour 2: Loaded 10+ articles from RSS(rewrite them), sitemap generated, bookmark on twitter and a few other social bookmarking. Day 1 Hour 5: Indexed by Google. Day 2: Rank 9 in Google for keyword - my new niche (no double quote, pretty well huh ) Day 3: Rank 143 in Google for keyword - my new niche FYI, today is Day 3 Here are some of my questions, please help 1. I read about Google honeymoon period, if on Day 2 I rank 9 in Google was honeymoon period, isn't it too soon to finish? 2. I also read about Google sandbox. Don't you think it's too soon for a new site to get into sandbox for a not really competitive keyword? 3. Do I get penalty by Google? 4. I'll continue post new articles everyday.
