    Dear all.

I have a site www.londonchocolatefondue.co.uk that has had its home page removed from the google index but the internal pages remain and I can't figure out why, does anyone have any previous experience of this.

FYI, the sitemap.xml has been causing problems in the webmasters tools, it can't read this correctly despite the fact that I have recreated this using several different generators. I have come to the conclusion that it is not being served correctly corrrectly and have moved the hosting, I will update this page when I have more info on this.

I can't really see why this would be a penalty because the site doesn't have many inbound or outbound links so I don't see why google would put a penalty on the site, could it be a sitemap issue?

    Thanks in advance!

    How old is your site?

    Is it a new site?

If yes, then I guess you need to wait for some time. Hopefully you will see your homepage back in the index soon.
