    I don't think Statcounter mind their site being penalized by Google. All that they care about is their service to people.

    Statcounter is really a good tool for tracking traffic. I think that issue on lossing PR is caused by selling links.

    Agreed..its most likely becuase they are selling links. Personally I just started using it (the free service) and I love it.
