I don't know what I've done (nothing black hat) I starting building links by article submissions, each article is unique, I wrote them, website increased in SERPs to page 1, then after Google Update, on to top of page 2. In the past 2 weeks I have submited 7 articles, done blog commenting in relevant niche and submitted site to .edu sites. But my site is stilll dropping, now near the bottom of page 2! Thursday, I did Press Release, and Socail bookmaking. Friday, got 200 stumbles and 9 diggs. Submitted RSS feeds to Pingler for website and squidoo lens's. I seem to be doing good backlink building (more backlinks than competitors in #1 & #2 spot on page 1. They have older sites, and increased PR (PR4 compared to PR1) What am I doing wrong? How can I increase in SERPs back to Page 1? If you cannot add something constructive, please do not comment. I've had a few people comment only to boost their postings - not offering anything of value in the thread - hope you understand.
That's odd - there are only 3 companys in the UK offering this product/service...it's more bizare, that our business has increased month on month since May, even with the site dropping!
If your traffic keeps on growing even though your dropping in rankings it's probs because your virtual is on the increase.
I don't know what might be wrong but my guess is sometimes even though your article is unique, the quality is not comparable to that of your competitors. Something like using good keywords, how you combine the right keywords together, how all the keywords are distributed within the content. All these have their importance.
Those article submittions,etc will bring you traffic... but, they don't make your site reach first page. If you want to reach top rankings, you have to post quality content in your website.
Ok due to the google panda algorithm you better be don't throw your article in the article submission
First of all check your website for duplicate content or improve content quality on web pages. Please don't submit one article more than 5 Article websites.
dear , you can just ask google to review your site , do that by google webmaster tools . it can be helpfull , and also you can ask your freinds to +1 your site after you ask google , it will be helfull inshaallah all the best .
i think digital point should do something about older posts normally peoples don't looked at dates before replying. this happens with me before
