Hi, google suddenly just dropped one of my pages COMPLETELY. It was in top 5 for the search phrase free macbook air. Now, it's not listed at all! http://freeipodsetc.co.uk/get-macbook-air-free-the-free-macbook-air-guide/ Any ideas what is going on. This seems to be the only page effected I think. Cheers guys
Did you copy the content on the macbook air off apple's website? Google's duplicate filter probably picked up on that if you did. Does your page get a lot of bounces? (A bounce is where a visitor leaves after 1 page.) Google is able to track bounces to some extent. Lots of bounces tells Google people are not finding what they are looking for and your page therefore should not be ranked high.
Ahh, i guess it's because I quoted the specs off Apple. I'll change that now. HOw long should it take to get reindexed.
If I make a similar post with a similar title, will this also be penalised by google. I made a similar page but instead of free macbook air it had free macbook pro. Cheers.

Yeah duplicate content and even spun content can still be bad for search engine rankings. Hopefully you have avoided the sandbox.
