I run a site. New pages were being indexed within 24hrs until this month. Recently, new pages aren't being indexed, seemingly at all. Does anyone know why Google would stop, or slow their indexing process? We are a PR4 site. Thanks!!
Maybe because they are planing to update your site down to PR1 or2 ,this is what hapened with my PR5, they went down to PR2 and 3
oh right wow... but we have tonnes of links to high number sites and people are continuously adding links to us..... doesn't make sense? Why would/does this happen?
Maybe try to improve your internal linking. How much does it take right now to get the new content indexed?
..our new pages don't seem to be getting indexed at all.... our internal linking is pretty good (it's a wiki style website) ..but yeh, I'll try linking to the new pages from other pages.... I think there's more to it than this tho....! thanks for the help so far guys...
Have you looked at your stats to see if the bots are crawling... What about resubmitting your sitemap to google this might trigger the re-indexing process.
Try to bookmark the new pages if it's an article. This will surely indexed by google if you submit it on stumbleupon.
opps but it happened because few months back everyone was sharing links with other according to niche and now they started removing everyones link from their blogroll because of Google fear or they created new pages specially for blogrolls that why many webmaster lots their page ranks .
I have been monitoring Google SERPs for last few days and for some reasons I see SERPs which were 2 weeks old. May be Google is doing some maintenance, and hope we will get to see the new SERPs soon.
May be its a temporary problem. I suggest you wait for some time, and you will hopefully see your pages being indexed. Also, try to get some backlinks from high PR pages, this will help your site to be crawled faster.
I really need serious sensible advice.... I make one page, it's indexed within 24 hours, I make another page (i.e. pages made 3 weeks ago...) and they're still not indexed... why would this be? thank you!
