Roman I totaly agree with your Google's broken idea. I think they are beyond Broken IMO. Now everyone can see why I love Microsoft getting into search as see if Google stays like this MSN can be our backup. The folks at Microsoft are our best friends when they make us webmaster's money if they send decent traffic
type in site:yoururl. com Chances are you'll see a big fluctuation in indexed pages across the datacenters. The numbers change every 5 minutes or so as well.
What's new about this? Google has always had different info on different data centers, with frequent fluctuations. I don't think it's right, but that's how it is. My problem lately with Google has been the info: query, everything else seems fine.
The flux seems more often. Look at the last 2 pr updates, they were messed up, look at all the people loosing listed pages in Google. There is something definately wrong.
Wow, Roman... that's cool... something new for me today... you more examples ither than yoururl. com ?
hummm.. We are ranking #6 on google.co.in for the term 'seo' and #3 for the term 'seo expert' on googles main site. Pretty cool. But this keeps on changing almost daily, last night i checked we were #6, now #3. :confused for 'seo expert' on Gs main site:
I figured it out. Google is stuck in a time warp and is going backwards. They are now showing 2 different titles for my site. I was listed in DMOZ about 6 months ago and G has been using that title since, but now for the first time since then some data centers which are also dropping listed pages are showing the title from before I was listed in DMOZ. The weird thing is that the amount of indexed pages is right about how many I had just before being listed in DMOZ. In effect, Googles' listing of my site has reverted to about Nov. 2005.
Google is showing me some stable stuff for me keywords. Only on 3-4 Datacenters the results are minor different. Also my 2 months old sites are in top10 for the main Keywords. Google is nice to me. For these results i think Google is giving importance to fresh content like MSN loves Fresh Content and index new sites rapidly. These are for my own experience with Google so far i know experts can conclude better. Roman are you doing SEO on regular basis or just left your site once it started ranking well for specific keywords? As i have noticed for my last 6 months experience is Keep working never sit idle when it comes to SEO i know you have more experience than me and would like to share what happend with your keywords as google datacenters started to act like a swinger
My site is so SE friendly it's not funny and new content is added on a daily basis and has been for almost a year. All my pages are unique, original articles and the pages are all .html In all honesty apart from losing some pages, my SE traffic has been going up, but I tend to notice things when they don't seem right and I swear, there is something majorly wrong with Google.
