Well this thread is not taking into serious , is becoming hilarious :) a kind of stand up comedy. But combining all the answers it seems that if google is doing that(be serious) is like if lastMMAfighter from FBI is searching for potential buyers to buy guns, and after....aha....we caught you :) My opinion is that everything is automated, despite the fact that I know a real person who is working as a freelancer, that has a contract with a company afiliated with google. that is rating websites manually, in order that google has also a human factor , or maybe to compare with automating rating...Who knows...

    Yes, this is true!

It's happening right now, not just here, it's all over the net.

this certainly gives a bigg question mark, when the "someone" or "my friend who works in so and so..." ? Give a solid proof else it looks like some one is trying to make himself famous around :p
personally I don't believe honestly for google to pay "its" workers to join a forum and do gummy-dummy works, it can get freelancers to do it, if its really interested

maybe big G really penalized some sites selling links, but the techniques described above are ridiculous, if they want to sweep sites they just ask the huge crawl engine/BOT to find out, not by asking employee to buy link here

There seems some possibility but who knows. Google is a giant company and the web is even more big, so its hard to pick them individually, google must have something good for it.

Thanks for giving me a nice laugh and definitely brightening up my day. I'm sure that you know a lot of workers from Google. This isn't James Bond, they don't have "secret agents" buying links on DP.

I would love to know if this guy is actually serious. because if he is,then he is seriously dumb and if he is not dumb, why start a stupid thread. Even more to the point, why is he even on here!

That's still fine to buy link since google only penalize the site that selling link but not the site that buying link.
And no one know how true is that google willing to spend those money without benefit them
