Google has got me up the wall, what shall I do!

When I am using Google Adwords the campaign targeting is for all countrys but only the english language. So people only visiting my site there main language should be ENGLISH!

On the other hand using GOOGLE analytics, I recieved 195 visitors and had a 66% bounce rate!

Not only that they showed visitors from india, china etc and I thought well there main language still could be ENGLISH so fair enough - so I checked further into my Google analytics account and out of those 195 visitor only 125 spoke english and the rest didnt.

That could really effect my bounce rate and sales etc, as in people visiting my site don't even speak or read english!

I had a thought of just advertising in the uk, america, austraila and new zeland - But the fact is alot of people still dont speak english in these countrys so that wouldnt solve the problem.

Any ideas this is happening and how can I just receive ENGLISH only visitors.

    thanks alot guys!

Google determines the language of the searchers it's serving ads to, by the language setting they have when they're searching Google - wherever they are in the world, if they set the Google page to English, they can see ads matching that, from advertisers who have targeted their country. I can't think of any reason why people who don't understand any English would search in English, but that doesn't mean it's their 'main' language.
Analytics decides on the language of visitors based on browser settings. People who are bi-lingual may well have one language set in their browser, but choose to search in English, becuase they are specifically looking for English /American content.

As to your other point - the number of people in UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand who don't understand English is a tiny proportion - and when those people use Google, they'd use it in the language they understand.

In the settings section - choose USA as country and then English only as language.

I think it's a general best practice to select "all languages" and use exact match keywords. This way, whatever language people are searching in, your ads will show if they enter an English query.

There's a minority of Spanish speakers in the US. In the UK most people speak arabic, persian or hindi.
