Google Has Gone Mad "Update on the way"

I think there are some updates are starting check you google webmaster tools>>Diagnostics>>Crawl stats and you will see your Pages crawled, page download and time spend on download went up,, this like the previous pagerank. Please check and let us know if you have seen some changes in your webmaster account

My indexed pages are always increasing so I cannot say for sure though the popular opinion is that we will have the update the day after tomorrow

 

i have a giant spike in january, then it's about average since.

Same, I think it all varies, nothing concrete at the moment about an update

 

My rankings, traffic and earnings have been going up big time for the last month so it's hard to say if there has been an increase for me. Hopefully it will be soon!

 

mine is almost similar just a little difference...few increase and couple of drop too.

 

Your observation appears to be spot on!
If past update periods are any indication, the next major PR update is scheduled to happen somewhere around present time... and your crawl stats seem to corroborate the fact...that indeed an update is round the corner!

I have experienced this kind of update since Jan 2010 and yes it is a big update as you said. However, this is a specific update that only happen for some sites but not all. The high crawling spike that happen to you is the not big indicator for other people sites update for now. There are nothing spike for my sites yet.

 

Mine have been about even for the past two months, but if anything, it was higher in January then now.

Just keep doing what your doing and one day when you wake up everything will be different.

 

Looking at my logs this looks promising.

 

my traffic has spike to 600 uniques/day but I don't think that this is because of the upcoming goole update. I am now posting 4 articles a day.

 

How long have you been posting 4 articles a day to get these results? where do you post them?

Exactly when that clock strikes 24 and enters 1 April we should be getting the PR update so until then no need to comment anymore

 

My Stats are as usual same nothing different from previous one.. May be your crawling page seems to be different from previous

 

It seems @wptheme has some inner source in google and through out this thread he has been making it very clear that the information what he has got from the sources is absolutely correct. Its on 1st April, 2010

Talking about the update mentioned in this thread, yes I did see it for couple of my sites, but it was for my new sites, so I doubt its really an update.

Everything Normal here!! No changes last spike was in Feb Mid.
