Google has done a Page Rank Update!

Google has done a Page Rank Update - They just havn't updated the Toolbar.
I have found 17 new PR10 pages -- and there are pages from the Google domain. This tells me that since June 22/2004 there has been a Page Rank update but that Google has not updated the values so that the toolbar can read them --- except on their site.

I think he's saying that aonly certain sites were updated.

Pagerank is updated all the time it's really only a matter of when the toolbar is updated so we can see it.

everyone: I am showing Abode with 8 new PR10 pages, Apple with 8 new PR10 pages, Google with 16 new PR10 pages, M$ with 2 new PR10 pages, and w3 with 1 new PR10 pages. I am expecting to see a number of more to be found on these domains as there are crawled.
These are the top 5 domains for PR10 pages. I am expecting to find further PR10 pages on other sites also as they are crawled.
Google has updated the toolbar for these pages.
TopSpin: The PR9 pages are to numerous to post on a page, there are lots of them.
joeychgo: Seems Google is updating some sites and not others. Or perhaps updating some pages.

 

I just generated a quick list only searching .ca domains. It's certainly not all inclusive but it might be a good start for you.

If you remove the deeplinks you might find the domain itself has a higher PR than reported here.

Ok, i am starting to smell a rat. Could Google have changed things such that the interval between PR updates in the toolbar depends on your current PR? For example a PR10 will get updated in the toolbar much quicker than a PR5?

If it happens, new sites will have to wait for years before they even gain one update!

 

it wouldn't make any sense at all to do that.

sites move in between the lower PR ranks a lot more often than the higher ones.

if anything, it should be the reverse (but then, there aren't that many high sites, so they wouldn't save much cpu time really)

 

Much delayed PR update drive webmasters crazy.

I don't understand the fuzz of this PR updating thing. I believe that real PR (not the visible from the G toolbar) is updating continiously, but I may be wrong?

 

everyone: Don't everone get mad at me at once. I am being told by one person so far that these are not new PR10 pages. I spammed this point all over the internet so don't tell anyone, but I am hiding down in the basement.
This might be a false alarm. Sorry if it is. I will post if I found out that I am wacked and the pages were PR10's already.

 

That's unbelievable ..... I don't think a PR update has happened .... at least, not for my sites. I had completely changed the structure of my sites after the last update, moved to a new server etc. and as a result, every page apart from the home went pack to a PR0. I have been tracking the SERPs every day since then and haven't seen any huge jumps (apart from the days when I made delibrate changes to title tags etc.) .... so, if there is a PR update .... I will definitely know! Trust me. (Don't worry, I'll let you know too). lol

LOL, ya well I am sorry if I was wrong on those PR10 pages. I am waiting for word back for one of the orginal persons that track PR10's. Could be that all the lists only list domains and subdomains and I when and started looking for new pages and found some. I started with Google and when I found a bunch I figured that Google had updating its self. And of course I wanted to be famous and be the first one to report it so I spammed all 10 forums I hang on. LOL. Well I will post soon as I hear from buddy.
In the mean while I got every one stirred up seeing green again.

 

The PR is updated constantly - correct. Also, there was a PR update, just not to the toolbar. If your site is in the Google Directory, go there and see your current PR. The new PR is in the G directory. It just hasn't been "updated" on the worthless toolbar we all installed to view PR's.

 

I had a site that had its PR and BLs removed from the index for a test I was running-

PR and BLs were removed about a month and a half ago but rankings were unaffected after the redirect was removed (PR0 and 0 BLs though)

and then when BLs were updated again, the PR came back- so Im wondering if PR did move?

 

How do you view your PR from the directory? Am I a moron or what
