Google has been too Generous This last PR update

    this was definitely over generous in places. am aware of a PR4 that probably shouldnt be and a PR 5 that definitely isnt, dont be surprised if or when it moves again IMO

    Yeah, things seem a little inflated. I have a 3-month old website with about 5 total back links and it got PR3. I have no idea how its possible since I have another site on the same topic with literally 2500+ links and the exact same pagerank. I know quality matters, but it doesn't seem like the five links were really that great. Maybe its just up because that site has so few pages.

    Oh well, PR itself doesn't really matter, the older site still has all the good SERPs.
