Well yeah, this buddy have his own mental problems, and looks like he is also an racist with prejudice. Only thing i could say is, poor person..
Does any of you has a background in law? This story is old news, all of Israel already knows that Google has admitted a secret, wikipedia was updated with it, and Google's lawyers agree with me. And Both Yoah Bar David and Itai Raz really liked me, and they even gave me their secret email. The recruiter there told me that she is approving my sallary and stuff, but than they had to reject me because of the things that I searched on the web. There is a WRITTEN proof for that, there is no point to argue. Especially since it seems like nobody of you has ay background in law. Show my websites to any lawyer (preferably to a hebrew speaking one), and he will tell you that I'm right. There is a WRITTEN proof that Google looks at the search history of the candidates, and this is a big scandal, legally speaking. Ask a lwayer and he'll explain that to you.
Ok Listen...GOOGLE has the RIGHT to look at your SEARCH HISTORY if they choose too!!! This is NOT discriminatory as you may think. Employers CAN test you before hiring you. In this case GOOGLE who is a search engine, decided to see how you do SEARCHES...and for some reason they decided you are not the right candidate based on your search methods. There is NO law that says Google can not do that. Even if Google does look at their candidates search histories...that is not a big deal at all....Most software firms will test you with coding or math, and will determine if your eligible or not. Seeing that you are applying for a search engine company, they would have the right to test you on your searching methods. And yes, they can look at your search history.

This is obviously legal for Google to look at the search history of the candidates, but it is strictly forbidden for them to admit that they they do it. But now, since a manager in Google Israel screwed up, there is a WRITTEN proof for that, and this is a very big deal. Google's interview process has become illegal as a result, because of some legal technicallity. They are not supposed to hire any new people. It is like the president of Iran will admit they have nuclear abilities. It looks like something rather small and insignificant, but it has a hell lot of implications. So tell all of your friend that Google admitted that. Wikipedia was updated with that incident. Google's own lawyers agree with me. This is what happens when managers screw thing up.

No it is not forbidden for them to admit that they search candidates search histories lol!! This is a very minor thing...its not a big deal at all..The reason google doesnt comment about it, is because its a stupid thing to comment about and even worry about!! Who cares if google doesnt admit it or if they do admit it..It has no bearing on the law or anything. And lol did you write the wiki entry yourself??
Ask any lawyer/ employer and he will tell you that. It's a legal technicallity, but a very important one. And they only do that to make sure that you are in good menatl health. They don't care about porn and stuff... But hear my advice: Don't search for suicidal/pedofile content. It might put you in trouble. And anyway, I'm 100% sure about what I'm saying. It's old news in Israel. It just has not reach the other parts of the world, yet.
HMM Google Googler Google admit "Taking Control of Google" for a search term of his choice was implemented at any time he chooses by K D Mains (That's me btw) but so what? Google admits as much truth as a lie detector but so what? Mental Health I don't know Meant all health now that's something interesting! Is this the number 1 2 3 or 88th lesson in search engine history cache results or a quick lesson in Google admissions?
The only bone of contention with Google using personal search history is whether they are using it accurately. A person may have a dubious search pattern when they are researching various topics - maybe they are writing an article about topic x and it just happens to be on a list of topics Google don't want to see on candidates search history. Similarly, if multiple family members use Google search when you have logged in, the personal search is distorted and inaccurate. If Google use the personal search history as the determining factor in whether they hire someone or not, they can be basing their decision on inaccurate information and technically not hiring someone on the grounds of misinformation about the character would be 'illegal' to some degree.
I don't think google is that dumb...they probably tested this guy in a private setting and then looked at his search methods. Most people think that employers are held responsible and could be liable when hiring and not hiring employees, but the truth of the matter is that all employers can simply decide to hire you or not, without any real reason. Firing an employee is different though. You cant just fire someone, but as to hiring, they can test you in whatever means they want, and still they do not have an obligation to hire you. And an employer is not required to give you a reason as to why they did not hire you.
The law against discrimination says that an employer can reject a candidate that passed the interviews successfully, if and only if they find out that he is suspected to be mentally ill. It is legal for Google to check your search patterns, and thus they have to do it. In my case, I passed the interviews successfuly, they rejected me for no reason, and indeed my search patterns imply a mental illness. Additionaly, I managed to force their lawyer, Shira Shriber, to admit that they looked at my search history. Again, she broke the law because it is FORBIDDEN to admit that. Anyway, this story is old news in Israel, so it is simply true. Google admited that they check you search history to verify you are not menatlly ill, before they hire you.
I personally dont beleive it, a company that large wouldnt admit to something that serious. essentially that is "bugging, or spying" on a member of the public. even the police need a court warrant to do such a thing.
They simply look at an information that you give them from your own free will. It is perfectly legal, and it is not considered invading your privacy. Ask any lawyer and he will tell you that. The problem is that now there is a written proof that they do it, written in hebrew, by Google's lawyer in Israel, Shira Shriber. The implications of that are catastrophical for Google. This is the real reason why Google's share price is dropping so rapidly lately. Google itself has essentially became illegal.
