    Edit:
    on further investigation it could have been blackhatseo making us think matt cutt's has hacked their site. at first i thought the comments he made about google on the bh-seo site were sarcastic, but the poor use of english here: "All your backlinks are belong to us ", makes me believe otherwise.

    I still don't believe if it was hacked they would keep it up for this long. At the very least he'd put up a temporary down page. The strangest thing is the "hack" page is still up after Apr 1.

    I think it is still a joke because Matt Cutts site would be back up by now and so would the black SEO ones site. But they are not, but I must admit this joke is turning into something else. It is only funny for a day at most, so it is starting to get a bit boring now.

    Also, if it was a real attact, don't forget Matt Cutts has hacked the black SEO website so he is bond to write them comments in the source code to make people think it is a April Fools joke when it may not be.

    Matt Cutts blog has some good information for webmasters so why would he be leaving it in a hacked looking state.

    Matt Cutts and Google says all these things that you have to follow their Webmaster guidelines and things, and they are just showing the opposite. Some people probably really think the sites is hacked and black seo is now the way and also there are bugs in Google, not all people reads this forums.

    Because Matt Cutts has hacked a site does that mean that hacking is now alright, it is just showing bad things.

    Maybe Matt Cutts has been sacked from Google and he is getting his own back, because looking at it to me the Black SEO site says about black hat SEO plus bugs in the algo and then Matt hacks the black seo site and says that "yes black hat is king", what's that saying. It could get people confused.

    Not me though as I am not taking any of this in and just doing what I normally do and have been doing all the time and that is white hat seo.
