    It is indeed a scam.

    Sadly I contacted one of the Mods and regarding this guy. I appreciate they can't get the money back but thought they might ban him.

    They simply said they don't get involved!!

    If it was a user with zero itrader and no posts I'd say OK but this is a guy with 50+ itrader and hundreds of posts.

    I'll certainly look at this forum in a different light now.

    Seemed to stop business soon afterwards. Checking his posts it seems that he "divested" everything, even sitefever.com is now owned by an asian guy

    sitefever seems to be US, living near Orlando ... just in case someone meets him by chance ...

    As he divested many domains it might be possible to identify him - with some efforts I guess
