    Has anyone tried exploiting http://groups.google.com for SEO?

    Have signed up to this and have added a few links to some websites.

    Just wonder if there is going to be any positives from using this.

    Not sure, there is nofollow attribute on link.

    Don't know about traffic it could bring.

    positives? Yes but not much, much more useful for traffic.

    I signed it 1 month ago, tried 2 days and gave up, because no traffic and backlinks from it.
