Hello, Why there are some Google groups hosted at "groups-beta.google.com"? I noticed that groups-beta.google.com forwards to groups.google.com, so you can use either: http://groups.google.com/group/Google_Webmaster_Help or http://groups-beta.google.com/group/Google_Webmaster_Help to access the same group (just an example). Was groups-beta.google.com different from groups.google.com at some point in the past or what?
About a year back Google Groups had a cosmetic make over and became Groups Beta. The content of the original and beta was exactly the same, just beta had a different appearance and displayed the topics/threads in a slightly different manner. As it goes I think all of the original Google Groups have now migrated to the beta version and consequently the label 'beta' becomes kind of obsolete. So they're all just plain old Google Groups again.
