Regardless of what you may think, Google does it for publicity and nothing else. I think they need to stop worrying about people who will never get any aid they send, and get their search engine squared away for those of us that work with it. This corporate good will is such bull...

A lot of people has been arguing that they should not contribute on grounds that the money will be misused. Whatever the reason that they are providing, I feel that it is not acceptable. What the money is being used for, and how it can be utilized will be up to the UN and Unicef to play their part. At least we have done something as a human being to contribute and do what we can.

Thanks google for such great big help.

In government-run Myanmar TV, as reported by the Associated Press, the programs are all dancing, singing and all entertainment galore. Foreign aids are complaining of visa difficulties and lack of support from the junta. In other words, the government refused help.

Help should not no be in cash otherwise it will be used to buy guns. Help should come as clothes, food, etc. If you intend to give cash, give it to the right organization who won't hand out cash to the junta.

It would be difficult, I remembered the Tsunami catastrophe, we collected tons of materials, but it is very difficult for transportation. It would be easier to send them cash to buy the essentials in the neighboring countries.

Frankly speaking the only power with such rapid air lift capacity is USA, without which more people will die, just heard on the news that the death tolls is 200 000, my heart really aches, these people could be rescued if the proper personnel and equipment are allowed to rush down. Instead what I saw on the news was the generals putting their names onto the aid packages claiming that these are gifts from them.
