Will this impact Clickbank & other affiliates?

In a move that should benefit affiliate marketers and vendors, Google announced yesterday that they've brought this same ability to remarket to customers to PPC advertising.

I do not think it would have impact to major affiliate network such as ClickBank / CJ that fast. Google is not an expert for affiliate networks and most affiliate marketers do know already about it. That's why Google have to put 300% effort to penetrate this market. Most of quality affiliate marketers will choose to stick with old-established network such as CJ.

I did not say the Google Affiliate is really bad nor will not succeed neither. I just saying the fact that Google cannot dominate every market overnight, even their new move is a smart anyway.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - this is only good news, for both advertisers and consumers. Advertisers will get to optimize their campaigns and reach the right audience quicker and more efficiently and consumers will be presented with ads and promotions for products they can actually use. It's a win-win. I think it's important to point out, though, that this practice isn't anything new. It's just new to AdWords. The fact that Google is now using it just adds legitimacy to the fact that retargeting works.
