So how much more traffic has that PR given you? I wouldnt worry about PR unless you plan on selling links. Worry about traffic...and content...

Yes, you just got lucky and got a PR update soon.

 

Absolutely normal nowadays if you got the on page basics correct.

 

Your new site and domain was owned by someone before you purchased the domain. The PR carried over from the old one.

Keep that up if that is the case.
I would suggest that you'll do daily updates on your site to maintain your stage.
Its not easy to achieve a page rank..

I have PR5 jumped up from PR0 after I created my site for only a month (new domain), doesn't mean I have higher traffic AT ALL.

I have another site with PR0 but higher traffic.. I'm happier with this one more than my PR5 site.

yeah i have zero.....but atleast a page rank and in 8 days its good enough for me.......and if i keep working like this than im sure will get 5-6 page rank soon....

you need to work hard to get high PR, keep in touch with backlink building.
