Google Friendly - .com vs. .biz?

I about to start a second adsense page based on a small business niche. I'm wondering if I should use .com or .biz domain for the page. Has anyone researched to see which domain is more Google friendly? Does matching the domain with the subject of the page make a difference?
I know .com = commercial, just seems it may have become diluted over the years since everyone uses .com for just about every topic. I'm guessing .biz for a small business page might make it more Google friendly - what do you think?

    Extension does not matter.

Value Advice in the long run: If you can purchase the .com over the .biz, I would suggest you purchase it. If you DO want to go with the .biz, and the .com is free, BUY BOTH!

buy both, but note that none of the search engines appear to care about the extension,

The only extensions that appear to make a difference are country specific tlds when aimed at a specific country

Some of the domain players in the industry tend to frown on .biz, i think you can find out more at Namepros.com, a domain name specific forum.

    Good luck! :)

I agree with centime. In my opinion .com is best, but .biz isn't exspensive, so why you shouldn't get both? :)

I sometimes do my google search with restrictions just for com sites. Using advanced search on Google, then limiting return results. I'm probably missing out on a lot :(, but it seems to bring some pretty good results for me. I don't know if this info is useful to you or not.

I personally like dot com over any other, however, I'm a cheapo/hobbyist kind of website maker and have been doing a few dot info domains lately. Good luck in your creation, by the way. :)

the answer is always .com, it's what everyone thinks of visiting first.

Biz, Info, CC and all of those other garbage extensions are just more "white elephants" that webmasters have to buy if they want to protect their existing site name from cybersquatters.

honestly speaking besides .com, .net and .org (keep .edu apart), i consider all other domains as SPAM :D really those horrible .info sites are all over the web...biz can easily become a replacement to .info.

you better stick to basics. The hype of biz and .mobi is waste of money.
