SEOquake can cause Google to not working sometimes, I hope this is the same meaning of your "Google Freeze". However, the froze page was not because of Google itself but because there are too many queries made from SEOquake in a period of time, over usage anyway. Google just freeze your IP and sometime your machine from using any query until it has been lifted.

change the setting for seo quake.
    From automatic to "by request".
You must watch official video of seoquake usage.
    It will help you more.
I know your problem, same as me in the past.

Yeah It does coz, of the multiple queries sent by the Quake which Google take as a automated system Queries and denies any further queries from that particular IP range for the time being.
