The price of servers space is going down rapidly and Google seems have control over tons of space. What do you think are the chances that they set up a Paid, but cheap hosting service where they host your sites, and instead of worrying about server upgrades, etc they just charge you for space and bandwidth, allowing you to stay worry free about upgrades, etc? They could charge a reduced rate compared to other data centers, and also have more data to help them improve their search results. I think they could really work this into their business plan. So, what do you think are the chances of something like this coming up in the near future?
Yes, possible. Yahoo have done it. I remember Yahoo gives free hosting through geocities, and then google introduced googlepages. Cheap hosting won't hurt google's treasury.
yea sure it can be. Because google must have lots of space and unlimited bandwidth. because adsense, blogger, gmail all runs so fast and smooth. Google will be providing space.
Paid, but cheap & reliable Google hosting service can be a best virus-proof hosting option with all dynamic features.
