    The fact is they did it to keep things clean. And incase you didn't know it still uses html;)
    We have MSN and yahoo if we want a cluttered search engine. Sergey and Larry were brilliant to keep it so clean. Knowing html had nothing to do with it. They were smart enough to learn simple html if they wanted to.
