robots.txt very simple thing to do but yet so many people complain their sites are indexed before the owners are ready.
I don't find anything weird here, rather I think it's normal to have visitors in a few days. Theoretically Google can bring visitors in minutes after publishing an article, I saw Google shows in search results posts published with just few minutes ago. Few days is already too long time in Google terms
You shouldn't complain I guess you have good On-Page SEO in a not-so-competitive niche... the only explanation I can think of
You are on your way to fame. Don't knock it, just keep doing what you are doing, only more of it. Google has been my friend ever since they started. My pages often get indexed in minutes and has been that way for over 10 years. And I don't do anything special, like I don't pay for anything, Google just does it.
Dang, it took me almost 4 months to get my site http://FreeBirthdayMessages.com to get on Google. Good job man
Don't worry man. you be happy for your brilliance or Google's dullness. There is one of these things which caused this. I also got visitors but after about 10 posts. Best of luck for next posts
I have developed one blog. This blog is for SEO and I have found that google can catch my blog withing 3 days. I am happy with that and now within 16 days I have got the 0 PR for my blog. How nice my blog content which is easily and fast crawl by the google.
It's amazing that people quickly assume it's "Luck". It is most likely due to having Informative content over Keyword stuffed garbage. I started a new website on 1/16/2012, and each post was indexed by Google within a few hours, without any backlinks. I see a lot of people doing this backwards. They try to make Search Engines happy, when they should be making their readers happy. (Even if they don't have any readers yet) In the end, Search Engines aren't going to click your ads, sign up to your list, or buy your products.
