Google forgot its Roots

Google is an american company created in the us 12 years ago right? Why is it that if you goto google.com right now they do not have special artwork for presidents day? They skipped out on veterans day and flag day as well. Why do they do artwork for people no one ever heard off? but they can't even give respect for america? are they so far left wing that they said screw the US?

To be honest, I'm surprised Google even changes their logo anymore for anything besides Christmas and Easter. I do think that they should have at least done something for Veteran's Day (I'm not so worried about Flag Day) because it honors a group of people that deserve to be honored.

Most other holidays are just about profits.

Google is actually more of a "technology company" than a pure "american company". That's why most of their logo changes are associated with technology-related persons and events, such as Nikola Tesla, Einstein, etc. They're an international company, so local holidays really aren't too interesting.

I don't know if Presidents' Day is a local holiday in US!? If it is so, I would pity why didn't Google create a logo for people of US who celebrates the Presidents' Day festival as local holiday because there are several Indian local festival logos appeared in the recent times. Here's is one such you will wonder to see an Indian Regional Festival Google logo: http://ow.ly/3F1az

Google is international and they seem to change their artwork/logo for holidays that are celebrated in many countries, not just the US.

Definitely right. It doesn't mean that because it was created in America, it is already an American company, coz it's actually and international company that provides services not just for America but for every country.

Google is very liberal and politically correct as a corporation. Not putting the American Flag "could", "might" offend some of its users so they choose not to. They do risk offending others in the opposite manner as they did you indy and I respect that. It is just a judgement call and they went with it.
