On page optimization is worked on ranking for low competition keywords fast but not for strong competition keywords. To rank on strong competition keywords, quality relevant backlinks and age are the most important factors. First page in 24 hours sounds impossible, it takes sometimes to rank unless your new site can up & get indexed within 24 hours & ranking/targeting for extremely low competition keywords. However this is a good post, thanks for sharing

Yup, "Flibberty wipp-wipples encore la douche" is right there number 1 after 4 hours. Naysayers, take note.

click the link in my signature, read the reviews from highly respected DP members, and then tell me if you still doubt my words - please dont get me wrong im not trying to hijack the thread or trying to sell you anything, im just showing you people are getting listed on 1st page google in less than 24hrs...

never underestimate what can and cant be done....

No spam guys. If you are better at something then show off your skills. And i mean, not at anyones expense. Let the newbies for once have a flow of any working methods and not just some chit chat. However, i am not asking that you put out all your working strategies here, but i think anything you add to this forum will be appreciated by everyone.

LOL Getting to page 1 in 24 hrs and staying there are two different things. The next time you make it to page 1 in 24 hrs and without backlinks from external site for some search term were there are millions of results, come here and post your URL so that we can all monitor it 2, 3, 7, 14 days later. Chances are, after a few days you won't be found anywhere in the top 100 even...

I hate to burst your bubble but it probably has nothing to do with your superb SEO tactics. It likely has more to do with Google's algorithm. Google has built into their algorithm logic that artificially boosts new pages relevant to the search phrase to the top of the results blending them in w/ older established pages which legitimately rank for that search phrase.

There are lots of theories as to 'why' Google does this... Perhaps they need some initial settings for certain ranking factors for that new URL that can only be obtained if the page were on page 1 of the SERPs... for example, click-thru-rate, bounce back rate, average time on site, etc. Or perhaps its their way of getting late breaking news or pages about sudden fads quickly to page 1 of the SERPs. Either way, after some period of time, the page then falls way back into the SERPs where it SHOULD have naturally ranked all along.

Google does the same thing when they index a brand new site. They show pages from the newly indexed site on page 1 of the SERPs for what they believe to be relevant search phrases. This is often affectionately refer to as the Google "honeymoon" period. Sometimes the pages from the new site show up on page 1 for a few days, sometimes even as long as a few weeks... The site owner is ecstatic because they 'appear' to be ranking on page 1 and getting good traffic, making sales, etc. Wow! This internet thing is easy!!!

But then suddenly the page or pages disappear from the SERPs, and they freak... The "honeymoon" is over. The site owner then ends up here, at webmasterworld, at the Google help forums... pleading for help from others to determine why Google has penalized their site. Some posters will tell them they've been penalized because they have a links page... others will tell them they've been "sandboxed" (myth)...

In reality, what has happened is that the page has fallen way back into the SERPs where it SHOULD have been ranking all along. The page is no longer having it's ranking artificially boosted by Google's algorithm. Now the REAL work comes... The webmaster now has to compete on even grounds (without help from Google's algorithm) with the older more established pages...

I'm sorry guys, but there is no quick, easy, steps 1-2-3, cookbook method of ranking on page 1... The only real strategy to ranking on page 1 long-term is to write unique and compelling content, follow best practices for on-page SEO (good <title>, <h1>, link text, etc), create a following, establish yourself as an authority on the topic of your site or page... and then the links will come naturally.

Great post. Thanks for taking the time to provide a detailed explanation of basic SEO practices.

The only thing I question is your statement about including your keywords in every paragraph. I think that this would really raise the keyword density way too high for Google. Just my opinion:)

    Thanks again!!

LSI, Long tail keywords, competitive analysis, all good stuff but I'm not seeing anything revolutionary here. Am I missing something?

I have to agree on this. Long tail keywords that have little or no competition will get 1st place results very soon after the index...

@canonical - i get on page #1 and stay there, some listings still there after 12 months
@nosfoo9 - i get on page #1 for competitive key terms
@omarabid - everyone could do it they just dont know how

i use a method thats been around a while and added my own twist to it and it works, i do follow the lines of keyword research that seo-genius talks about, and then apply the rest of what he talks about to dominate the rest of the listings

im showing SEO GENIUS what i do since he was kind enough to share his knowledge - but like i said visit the thread in my signature and see what other respected members on DP have wrote and you will see im not BSing - then ask yourself if its still impossible or not? :)

PM's are coming in. I still have few more spaces to go. But remember not to include any stories, just your url and keyword phrases.

And thanks to those who have read, gained and left comments, they make information sharing really worth it!
    Thanks! :)
