    Hi,

I started a streaming site a while ago. Initially, It was a cricket streaming website and I was working on the keyword "Live cricket streaming". However, After struggling a few months, I switched to football.

Once I switched to from a cricket based site to football based site, I Changed the website's title and description and started to work on Multiple football keywords. However, When I googled, I noticed that google is fetching wrong titles ( previously set titles ).

For instance, 1 post had the title "Manchester united vs fulham highlights 3 - 2 | Watch Live football Streaming free and Premier league highlights" But in Google search results the title of the post is showing as "Manchester united vs fulham highlights 3 - 2 - Live cricket streaming". See attachment for more details.

I then searched "site: MYDOMAIN" on google and I realized that Google was using different titles that I set previously for posts, pages, archives, etc rather than the currently set all the posts ( not pages, archives, etc ) are showing previously set title rather than the currently set title. The titles were changed/updated like 3-4 months ago.

Any suggestions on How I should handle this issue and how to fix it.

P.S - Using wordpress and All in one SEO plugin. url = livetackle.com

well my first question would be how long ago you changed the titles. And also, have you resubmitted your site to google and other search engines manually. Unfortunately, google crawling works VERY slow. So it could take some time for your listings to update.

Hmm, well i suppose then there are two things you can do. The first being a thorough double check of the pages in question. Making sure that there are no conflicting meta tags or anything on the pages that would cause google to pick up stuff from your old site. If you're positive that nothings wrong on your end, then you would need to contact google support here: support.google[dot]com (sorry cant post links). But again, make sure that nothing is wrong on your end. They can update crawl data manually, but if something is wrong on your end, then the results will be the same.
