Google FeedFetcher !

    I just Saw this in my Log files. Is google having separate bot to fetch feeds ?

    Also it gets the Feeds Cached very fast than the main content pages.

    Has any seen this before.

    Note that feedfetcher request are all user-initiated, so it does not index feeds to add them to search results for Google services. The feeds that appear in search results are those crawled by Googlebot. Googlebot uses feed autodiscovery to find public feeds.

    - On another page they seem to indicate you can add any feed to your personal home page, but i don't see where or how that's possible - Is it?

    I think Google is talking about adding your feed to your personalized search page in Google. It seems to help with indexing sites in google. You can do this a lot of places like Yahoo and MSN and it seems to work pretty well.

    But regarding the highlighted : i have seen many feeds indexed and appearing for search results as well.

    Any one seeing this kind
