Google Favicon

when did Google add their new Favicon .
I just noticed it today

 

I noticed it yesterday... who knows Google is so mysterious

 

its grabs your eyes pretty fast dont it

 

Ya I for a second I was like is this google???? They had that old favicon for like 5 years

 

for me it only shows as the new adsense favicon. the google.com favicon is still the same for me

 

Gaim hard refresh www.google.com and im sure it will change

 

They have changed it twice in like the past few months now! I prefer it from the old one

 

yeh i dont like the new one much at all.. kinda annoying really. doesnt give the feel of google at all

 

It's been a few days that it's "on". It's cool, I like it. It's better than the old one.

 

If you ask me whats the old one looks like...I couldnt tell you. I guess it as a G....the new Favicon looks hip and ready for the future..

 

Yeah I think they used to have just a G but now its a g with different colors.

 

I have no idea. I noticed that icon last monday.

I think it looks like Sherwin Williams has puked on my toolbar. WTF is it supposed to be ? Compare it to ebay... same colors... but you know right away which site it belongs to.

Hold on... having a "70's flashback"... there is a white "g" in that hallucinogenic mess.

 

I think they should just choose the classic google "G" Favicon

 

Doesn't matter when they did, but do you like as i do ?
It looks more elegant in my opinion

I like new Fav.. Its nice.

 

The new favicon is better than the old one. They change their favicon so fast. Anyway, I noticed it yesterday

 

It was changed on 10th I think. There was a thread about it here..

 

i know the fav is a little thing to change but maybe this will lead to their main page being changed someday?
I dont see google looking the same in the next 5 years
