google faster than yahoo

hi..
I submitted my site to google and yahoo on the same day,
But google indexed my 86pages whereas yahoo indexed 23 pages..
Is google faster or there's any other problem

 

Different search engines work in different manner, so there is indexing difference. google is faster though ( my view)

all se alogrithm is different than other, yeah google is faster than yahoo and yahoo is faster than msn.

 

just from a site indexing, its hard to say who is faster than the other. when it comes to counting backlinks, yahoo shows backlinks sooner than google so does it mean yahoo is faster than google?

 

it depends on whats programmed on the spider so you cant actually put them in a comparison just like that

 

the number of pages indexed and the time it takes to index the pages depends on the algorithm and it seems that google has a very strong algorithm than yahoo so google is much more better.

 

I like Google more than yahoo =)

 

yahoo has a scheduled indexing and updation while google is doing this automatically.................

 

Not to mention I would assume Google has much more data to crawl than Yahoo! does...or am I wrong in my assumption?

Yes google is faster than Yahoo. It is even excellent for traffic generation and for indexing.

 

In most cases they are faster, however I have had a few sites get crawled faster with Yahoo. very few though.

Yes you are right google is faster, however it some cases yahoo has more advantages like the backlinks which are created has more rate than the earlier one.
