They have also said that an overview of the plans they have for the launch of Chrome OS in 2010 would also be presented. Google has even officially invited some of the media people to cover the preview on Thursday. The program, has been said to be hosted by the vice president of product management Mr. Sundar Pichai. The engineering director for Google Chrome OS Mr. Mathew Papakipos would also accompany Mr. Sundar Pitchai during the preview of Chrome OS.

It is still very rough and in beta. A LOT more work needs to be put into it, this is why they'll only be officially releasing it at the end of next year. They need to bake in more offline capabilities into the OS for it to be more universally viable.
