I have created some email accounts for one of sites in Google and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. This creates huge problems because people don't get my emails and I don't theirs, it's a big mess. What are they thinking! Just wanted to give everybody a heads up about that.
I assume this is a free service? In which case, you get what you pay for - if you rely on it for business, pay to get something, well, reliable.
So what because I get to drive on roads for free they should have gaps in them? That is dangerous logic. Google makes it's money from ads, if they don't provide good free service no one would even hear of google.
Well you should check the e-mail settings of your account properly. If thats okay it might be a problem at your hosting end Google comes later.
I have similar issues with Google Business App which i use for one of my forums, and if I keep sending Private Message alerts Or Notification alerts it gets qualified as SPAM, because the 75-80% of Content are same on each outgoing emails. I know Hotmail/MSN have google email server as grey listed and hundreds of people has posted that issue in google app forums and some email servers dont accept emails from google servers at all - unless the email address ends with gmail.com. I don't have a dedicated mail server, but I have dedicated Web server - so i relay emails thru my webserver for all users except for gmail and yahoo account users. Yahoo and gmail will accept everything that comes from google mail servers, unlike other mail providers. Google was providing support for Free google app users, but they have stopped it now and they will ask you to post of google app forums, where hundreds of people post issues with no great response.
