There's a guy having that problem with his forum (not posting here but elsewhere) - his forum is about "bad conversation, warm beer, and chicks" and it looks like Googlebot got hammered and has been trying to pick up chicks for like the last week.
well for a small forum with less than 350 members and my site less than 250 pages google bot uses about 1gb a months looking for stuff unless he looks at all the pages in the forums, then i guess its about 12,000 in all. doing good myself to
