Hi, Say i had 6 websites, each one is in a different language. If i translate the english to say italian, french etc and put them on these websites would google consider them duplicate?

nothin' to worry. The same site in many different languages is perfectly valid. Different languages is not duplicate content.

Google duplicate is calculated with a site having two or more same contents.

Even a slight editing of the original content will bemuse Google - it just MAY track automatic translation of the text - but I rather doubt they do it (because of a great number of automatic translation solutions offered on the market)

    I don't think so.
Having the same text in different languages means you're providing content for different audiences, and therefore adds value.
