I definitely can't wait for the Google OS. To be honest, I'm a little surprised that they dropped windows like a hot potato. But we'll see what comes of it.
There's probably not even Photoshop for linux. And I can't be bothered with WINE or whatever. Linux has Gimp but that's a joke compared to PS. Again, not saying Linux doesn't have its uses...
That's Adobe's fault, not Linux. That has nothing to do with the OS. Then don't complain if you don't want to use the tools. Gimp does 80% of what professionals need PS for and 100% of what most people on this board use PS for. Most people don't need or use 80% of the features on PS. Windows has its uses, too. For example, my wife has to use it for QuickBooks for my business. That's the only Windows box I forgot about that we do have. The only reason we use QuickBooks is for the payroll tax features. If not for that, we'd dump that, too. We use BSD and Linux for everything else.
No opinion. Fact.*nix is a far superior operating system that runs rings around Windows and spits in its face. Known. Provable. Verifiable.
