    Anyone notice their eCPM today, mine has now plummeted to a low like last years earnings again. Google has now dropped some of there ecpm ad bids down now to 25 cents for a thousand impressions, which has made adsense earnings plummet again :(

    Earnings go up and down. We often try to justify why. I suspect that dropping the minimum CPM is actually be good for quality Website. Why because Adwords campaigns will divert money they use to invest in keyword campaign into site-targeted campaigns. Which means more money for quality Websites, less money for splogs and search SPAM.

    Do you understand what the ecpm represents? Based on how you're wording your post I think you're confused. eCPM and CPM are not the same thing.

    CPM= cost per thousand

    CTR = click through ratio

    Do yourself a huge favor and go read the Adsense TOS and info about the program that Google makes available until you're chanting it in your sleep:)

    Google now allows bids as low as 25 cents for cpm ad campaigns (1,000 impressions), thus the payouts for eCPM for adsense is a lot lower also. Making adsense earnings lower. That's all I am saying.......

    From Here:

    Unless people are running site targeted ads on your site it won't impact you at all. Just becuase the min. is .25 doesn't mean that will get you a single impression either. Try running a cpm campaign on DP for .25/cpm - I let one sit for a week and never got a single impression.
