Google dropped us on ALL keywords

    Did your services do automated submissions? Google also puts little weight if your site is linked from a free, non-human edited directory.

    Second, the anchor text may have had a big factor. 1,500+ links with the same repeated anchor text is not beneficial to your rankings.

    In Google's eyes - quality is always better than quantity. I'm talking about 1,500+ links that all say the exact same word-to-word verbiage.

    Let me try to find the Google video that explains this.

    LOL - exactly my point.

    IMO he / she has been penalised for domain farming - not down to duplicate content, but down to lots of dofollow links from lots of domains, all traceable via link graphs, and then the icing on the cake was it was all duplicate content

    I advise you to make all the URLs search engine friendly. Also you should properly use ALT text & footer text and link which are absent. generate a xml sitemap and submit it to google webmaster central.
