Google dropped my traffic to half, anybody else?

Hi,

During last week, my traffic from Goggle kept increasing but today I see that google dropped it almost to half, I don't why!!

Did that happen with someone else?

I just read somewhere that they had a core algorithm update towards the end of November.

 

Used to have 300+ organic traffic way back
Last year Before May update that time
From Last year till now per day just 100+ organic traffic

 

Mine actually rose from last week and has almost doubled. I am not sure if there was an update like Google keeps doing nowadays, but I have also been doing a lot of off-page lately which I believe could be a contributing factor. But still it was a big spike and has held there for about 5 days consistently sending in some good conversions.

 

I found the reason, toxic backlinks.
I hired someone from Fiverr for 150$ and she gave me spammy backlinks. I disavowed them today.

 

Just recently , Google does has an update. which also mention on the main page here

This is the problem, Some so call SEO sellers are " flipper " they go fiverr get so call SEO service and sell high at IM forums
Why till now SEO service still popular because is like " Magic " No body know the secret behind you can't control much since end of the day is Google decide how to index , how to rank millions , billions of sites online.
Of course SEO factors still valid. Having Quality backlinks really does will help your site .

yea man, today even worst keep dropping the organic traffic, i trying pushing for direct traffic to compensate
