I had a website http://www.whoinventedmotorcycle.net which was in the top 5 when people searched for "who invented motorcycle". I wrote my own content and all my content was unique and for around a week it was getting close to 200 unique visitors sent by google. Suddenly my site is not even appearing in the search results and i think google dumped me. This is the only change i made to my website before it was dumped. i changed the static links in my website Something to Something as in one of the SEO forums it was mentioned that if the web site's domain name has the keywords in it and if the links are renamed like this google will be happy to link the pages and get higher SERPS results. As i am a newbie to SEO i am confused with what made google drop me as i dont follow any black hat practices.
you're #11 ? i'd dump the h2 tags at the bottom of the page. SE's are smarter than that. Relative or hardcoded links really have no bearing on your rankings at all. You just need more links to your site.
also, you should not have everything in bold. only the most important phrases and only a couple times. As it is now, bold has no importance on your site because everything is bolded. <---
Thats interesting to see that i am no-11 in a specific data center. One of my friend told me that i am no-3 when he searched for the same and he lives outside united states. Is this a data center synchronisation that is not showing any results if i search for the same.
