    Hey to all,

From mid of June experieced huge drop with few keywords in Google search. I was hitting first page of google, than suddenly droped to 3rd page... since than nothing really changed. Its not happening to all my KW only the main once i target the HP to.

    The site is 1.5y old
The only thing is that i had around 25k backlinks, than i did some aggreements with huge portals in the country and now having more that 200k.(180K from 5 websites, sidewide.)
The thing is that all this link were added in the almost same time.

    what to do now?
Shoudl i get rid of these new links? or shoud i wait if its get "normal" again?

thanks a lot for any help

    DD

Well, that's the reason you were dropped.. Google probably thought it was "unnatural" growth, and penalized you for it. Something similar to this happened to me when I was running a ringtone campain.. Although, I would suggest just waiting it and, Google should come around eventually. It may take a month or so, for everything to get settled though. So be prepared to wait for a bit.

The whole world dropped during this last update. The number of increase was not wise because it was to large for a small period of time. But also, non of those link would have registered with Google yet.

Usually, there was SEO done on the Top 10 serps for your keyword phrase and that's what happened. Look very close at what may be duplecated content, etc. If you really haven't make a change, then I would look at your OnPage SEO vs. the Top 10.

This is very unnatural, you should have done that gradually and avoid site wide links

Thanks a lot for advices... :)

1/ well im waiting for more then 40 days now and nothing really happend :(

2/the thing with sitewide - well I was not aware they have so many links... :( ... and i can say im not the newcomer in this business... i would call it my stupidity :) for this time...
Q: should i take the sitewides down? and leave the links on the HP only?
IDEA: i wanted to take them some of them (sites) down, but than i dont know if that would look nature either....

    3/

    >> That what im sure is not happening... the sites im trying to beat are longer around but im definitely better on onpage factors...

    2) if you have been penalized, taking the sitewides down will not change anything so you might as well leave them

    3) there are no penalties for duplicate content.

you will eventually go back up because the sand box is only temporary. Next time you shouldn't add so many back links at once

The "sanbox" if it exists has its effect at the beginning of a website's life, at his launch, not after it has been indexed. It would not generate a drop in the rankings

Google is trying to test it out to see if your spammy or not. Also, maybe new competitors arised that took over? Personally, I would suggest a few high page ranks linking to you than thousands of junk.

    Hi to all,

thanks for your help and ideas!

Ok - i know it was a mistake... to add so many links at one time...

As i read your comments it looks like i should leave the links as they are cause nothing much will change the situation anyway.
Had a idea to do some more link building to look "nature" again? what do you guys saying about that? I dont want just wait and hope....

look at the bright side - you going down, means somebody else went up
--> funny :) but not this time... my company is loosing a big amount of money right now! :(

if any of you have a time to look closer to the site, send me please PM and i will send you the site url... reward for helpful advices guaranteed ;)

Google fluctuates around alot, wait it out see where you are in two months time and if your still that far down think about creating a new site in the same niche!
